Important Announcement

Dear fellow cadets and friends,

With the uncertainty around the pandemic and the interstate and international borders reopening, COSPAR-K will be postponed and re-branded as the Australian Youth Space Expo. Running in association with National Science Week in August 2022, our exciting program will still include the International Rover Challenge, inspiring presentations and interactive activities.

Improved format.  Same venue - ICC Sydney.

Sunday 7 – Wednesday 10 August 2022

We have received strong support and encouragement from the UNSW, the NSW Department of Education and many others to ensure the success of COSPAR-K.  The decision to postpone the event was made to put the safety of attendees first and to maintain the original goals of the event.  It’s come down to the benefits of being in-person over virtual. After careful consideration we believe that it is important to re-engage and learn together and therefore we have chosen to puan in-person event in August 2022.

The Australian Youth Space Expo will showcase career pathways within the space industry available to our students and help equip our educators with the skills to support their development. It’s a STEM event that has been designed to be hands-on and interactive, helping participants identify opportunities and increase awareness of our domestic space industry.  It’s for this reason we have focused on delivering the very best in-person event to you- and if that cbe now, we’re sure you’ll support us even more in 2022.

On behalf of the team we are delighted to invite you to Save the Dates for 7 - 10 August 2022.
